The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CLSA) in cooperation with Canadian municipalities, are pleased to announced that SHAPE Architecture’s Union Street EcoHeritage is the winner of the Urban Architecture category of the 2016 National Urban Design Awards. This category of Award recognizes a building or group of buildings that contributes to and supports an urban design initiative, is of high architectural standard, and which achieves urban design excellence through their unique relationship with their immediate surroundings.
