W 5th Ave & Burrard Street Commercial Mixed-Use

Imagined as a new urban typology, this mixed-use commercial development in the South Granville neighbourhood combines retail, industrial and office uses to create a new form of urban infill. As one of the first projects to be undertaken as part of the City of Vancouver’s Broadway plan, this development will house commercial uses at ground level while providing much needed spaces for work above.

Stepped massing along a street frontage provides generous roof gardens and patios that take advantage of spectacular City and mountain views. The building’s massing is configured to create a covered ground level plaza on the street that connects to the main entry lobby on 5th Avenue via shopping promenade, articulating and energizing the adjacent street edges.
